FAQ

Quick answers to the things people ask most. Still stuck? Reach out on Telegram.

Safety & your wallet

Is my money safe? Who holds my funds?
You do. Every account gets its own wallet created in Privy's secure vault - Mirrored is just an authorized signer and never holds your private key. You can export it and walk away to any wallet, any time. More in Security & recovery.
Do I need crypto experience?
No. Deposit from almost any chain and Mirrored bridges it to the pUSD Polymarket trades in automatically - nothing to wrap or swap. See Deposits & withdrawals.
Can Mirrored move my funds somewhere I didn't approve?
No. It can place Polymarket orders and withdraw only to an address you confirmed yourself. Every action is a real on-chain transaction you can audit.
Is this real Polymarket?
Yes. Mirrored trades directly on Polymarket from your own wallet - not a separate exchange or a pooled fund. Your balance is real pUSD on Polygon and your positions are real Polymarket positions you can view on polymarket.com. More in Security.

Fees & cost

What does it cost?
A flat 1% fee. Copy trades only pay it on winning exits - free to enter, free if they lose. Trades you place yourself pay 1% on each leg. No subscription, no hidden spread. Details in Manual trading → Fees.
Is there a subscription?
No. The only cost is the 1% fee above.

Copy trading

What's the difference between Auto Pilot and Mirroring?
Auto Pilot copies a curated lineup of sharps in one tap - we pick the wallets. Mirroring is for hand-picking specific wallets yourself. They can run together.
How big are my copied trades?
Sized by conviction - when a leader bets a share of their bankroll, you bet a proportional share of yours, with a hard cap per trade so nothing can blow you up. See Sized to survive.
Who are the sharps, and why are they anonymous?
A curated roster of consistently profitable Polymarket wallets, vetted on real on-chain results. We show the track record, not the identity, so they can't be front-run. Browse them on Sharps.
Can I lose money?
Yes - these are real bets on real markets, and a market can resolve against you. Conviction sizing and the per-trade cap keep you spread across many positions rather than betting the farm, but no copy trading can promise a profit.

Money in & out

How do I get money in and out?
Deposit from almost any chain; withdraw to almost anywhere. You see every fee and an estimated time before anything sends. Full flow in Deposits & withdrawals.
Do I have to claim my winnings?
No. When a market resolves your way, Mirrored redeems the winning shares for you automatically - the cash just lands in your wallet, usually within about ten minutes.
How much should I deposit?
$10 is enough to test the flow. For Auto Pilot, around $500 is the sweet spot - each copy is only 1-3% of your balance per market, so a larger balance spreads across more positions.

Other

Is there a token or airdrop?
Polymarket has no token yet. If one ever drops, it would likely reward real trading activity - and every trade Mirrored makes builds that volume in your wallet. It's a potential upside, not a promise. More in the overview.
Is there a Telegram bot?
Yes - Mirrored runs as a bot on the same wallet and funds. Trade, copy, manage positions, and get alerts from either place.
