Referrals

Share your link, earn a slice of every winning trade your invitees make. Payouts are pUSD on Polygon and land in your wallet automatically — no claim button, no withdraw step.

How it works

Tap 🎁 Referrals from the main menu. The bot shows three things:

  • Your code — a short unique string generated when you first ran /start. Stable forever.
  • Your share link — a Telegram deep link of the form https://t.me/<bot>?start=ref_<code>. Send this to anyone; when they tap it and run /start, they're permanently attributed to you.
  • Your earnings — total earned (paid + pending) plus a count of direct referrals who've signed up.

What you earn

Mirrored charges a 1% fee on realized profit when an invitee sells or redeems a winning position. As the referrer, you receive 25% of that fee (not 25% of the trade — 25% of the 1%). The remaining 75% goes to the house.

A worked example: your invitee buys at 40¢ and sells at 70¢ on 100 shares. Their realized profit is $30. The platform fee is $0.30 (1%). Your cut is $0.075 (25% of $0.30).

No fee, no referral payout — losses don't generate fees, and partial sells only generate fees on the share of the position that closed at a profit.

Payouts

Payouts are fully on-chain and automatic. There's no claim or withdraw step:

  1. When an invitee's trade settles at a profit, the platform fee accrues to a ledger along with your slice.
  2. Periodically, a sweep transaction fires that splits the accrued fees on-chain — house portion to the treasury, your portion to your wallet — in one batched relay call.
  3. You receive pUSD on Polygon at your master signing wallet (the same address you can export the seed for). It shows up in your 💼 Wallet balance.
Earnings on the Referrals screen split into Total Earned (what's been paid out so far) and Pending (accrued but not yet swept). Sweeps run whenever the unswept pool clears the threshold or whenever an invitee taps Buy / Sell — you normally won't wait long.

Sharing the link

You can paste the link anywhere — Telegram chats, X, Discord, group DMs. When someone taps it on a phone with Telegram installed, the bot opens directly. If they already have an existing wallet with the bot, the link does nothing — referral chains are frozen at signup, never re-attributed afterward.

The bot also adds your affiliate code to every Polymarket link it generates (event, market, profile pages), so anyone who clicks through and signs up to Polymarket from your chat counts on the Polymarket side too. Common questions

How does a referral get counted?

Your invitee has to open the bot through your link — or send /start ref_<your code> manually — on their very first visit. The attribution fires once, at signup, and is locked in from then on. If they just message the bot with plain /start, the referral won't count, even if they've seen your code elsewhere.

Can the link expire?

It doesn't. The code is bound to your wallet for the life of the account.

What if my invitee already had a Mirrored wallet?

They keep their existing wallet and chain. Referral attribution only fires on the very first /start.

Where do my payouts land?

Your master signing wallet, on Polygon, in pUSD. Same address you'd see in Wallet. You can export the seed and move funds out at any time.
