Auto-sell

Set profit thresholds that automatically sell a slice of your position when it hits a gain. Stack tiers to ladder out of a winner without watching the screen.

Auto-sell lives in ⚙️ Settings → 🤖 Auto-Sell Tiers. It works across every position you hold, whether it came in through Auto Pilot, a manual copy trader, or a trade you placed yourself.

Auto-sell is off by default. Flip the toggle on before adding tiers, and flip it back off any time to pause all automatic exits without deleting your tiers.

How it works

Each tier has two numbers: a threshold (how much the position needs to gain before the tier fires) and a sell percentage (how much of the position to sell when it does). When a position crosses the threshold, the bot places a market sell for that percentage of your remaining shares and marks the tier as fired for that position — it won't fire again on the same position even if the price keeps climbing.

FieldWhat it means
Threshold %Gain percentage that triggers this tier. 30 means the position needs to be up 30% from your average entry price.
Sell %Percentage of your remaining shares to sell when the tier fires. 50 sells half of what you still hold at that moment.

Stacking tiers

You can add as many tiers as you want. A common approach is to ladder out in stages so you lock in gains early while letting part of the position run:

TierThresholdSell %What happens
1+30%25%Sell a quarter when you're up 30. Three quarters left.
2+60%50%Sell half of what's left when you're up 60. Three eighths of the original left.
3+90%100%Exit everything remaining when you're up 90.
Each tier fires once and only once per position. If a position hits +30%, tier 1 fires and sells 25%. If it then drops back to +10% and recovers to +30% again, tier 1 does not fire a second time — it already ran on that position.

Take-profit alerts vs auto-sell

These are two separate features and you can use both at the same time:

FeatureWhat it doesYou decide
🔔 Take-profit alertSends a Telegram notification with quick-sell buttons when a position gains X%.Yes — you tap the button to actually sell.
🤖 Auto-sell tierPlaces the sell order automatically when the threshold is crossed. No — it fires without any action from you.

A common setup: keep the take-profit alert on at a lower threshold (say +20%) so you get notified early, and set an auto-sell tier at a higher threshold (say +50%) as a backstop in case you miss the notification.

A few things to know

  • Sell % applies to remaining shares, not the original position. If tier 1 sells 25% and tier 2 later sells 50%, tier 2 sells 50% of the 75% left over — not 50% of the original amount.
  • If a market resolves before a tier fires, the tier never fires. Winning positions get auto-redeemed normally; the tier just becomes irrelevant.
  • Tiers apply to all positions. There's no per-market or per-leader override right now. If you want auto-sell off for a specific position, turn the global toggle off, wait for the tier to become irrelevant, then turn it back on.
  • The $1.10 minimum still applies. If the sell would be smaller than $1.10, the bot skips it.

Take-profit alerts are configured separately under Settings → Notifications.
